Pentecost Weekend Saturday 22nd – Sunday 23rd May
Pentecost is our Patronal Festival. We celebrate over the whole weekend with a Quiet Day on the Saturday and a guest preacher and celebratory morning tea on Pentecost Sunday.
Bishop Bill Ray, retired Bishop of North Queensland, will be leading our Quiet Day and preaching and presiding at the Eucharist on Sunday.
Saturday 22nd May – Quiet Day 9.30 am – 3 pm. Bring your own lunch.
Sunday 23rd May – Eucharist and morning tea.
Put the dates in your diary now, and plan to be part of the celebrations!
We are an Anglican Church and use the formats in A Prayer Book for Australia for our services. If you have been to an Anglican Church before, you will feel at home. If you have never been to an Anglican service, don’t worry – stand, sit, kneel as you feel comfortable. Relax, enjoy, and worship God with us.
Eucharist at 9am. To join the service via Zoom, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for the links.
This is our family gathering each week.
Children are very welcome – You can read more about our childrens’ area and programs for children HERE
Last Friday of the month at 5pm.
This service occurs in the context of Evening Prayer. Prayers are offered for the sick, those in need and for medical and research staff. All present are invited to be anointed for their own healing and for the healing of those for whom they pray.
